Christina Karpodini is a Creative technologist, Music composer, and Researcher.

Christina is a PhD student in the DMT Lab at Birmingham City University, UK. Her research focuses on designing and developing novel accessibility tools for processing and experiencing information through haptics in music production.

Christina is a classically trained musician with Piano, Singing, and Composition expertise. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Music Studies with a specialization in Acoustics and Music Technology from The University of Athens (NKUA), Greece, in 2015. Subsequently, she pursued her Master's degree in music composition at City University of London in 2016 and Computational Arts at Goldsmiths University in 2020.

Her artistic focus revolves around electroacoustic composition and exploring interactive installations and novel musical interfaces. Christina's work is driven by a commitment to promoting education, social engagement, ecological consciousness, self-awareness, and inclusivity through her creative endeavours. Her compositions have been featured in many international festivals (UK, Italy, Mexico, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece), and her installations have been exhibited in venues around London (Horniman Museum, Iklektic, Peckham Digital).
