This composition is part of my diplomatic essay for the Music Studies Degree of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. My diplomatic Essay is entitled to research on Acoustic Ecology and Soundscape Composition (Technical and Aesthetic Approach). This 3 movements composition is partly a physical soundscape and partly an imaginary soundscape but in both occasions, it consisted of personal recordings of Ios island (Greece). In my composition, I wanted to demonstrate the variety of sounds of the island environment and the relationship between individuals and nature.
